Many readers are searching some info from this blog pertaining to Klias Wetland or Garama Wetland. Kindly browse to my previous post for some simple info and photo of river cruise in Klias Wetland, Kuala Penyu.

Garama and Klias Wetland are actually located in Beaufort and Kuala Penyu region. It’s a long stretch of swampy river and consist of a rich ecosystem. Visit these websites (Website 1) and (Website 2) for more info on booking and reservation.
Usually, tourist and local visitors came to visit these places just to have a closer look on the Proboscis Monkeys, the endangered species of monkey and also known as the Dutch Monkey which can only be found in Borneo Island. The river cruise will commence about 5.00 pm and upon arrival you’ll be served with a light refreshment and local delicacies. The said river cruise will give you at least 60 minutes to 120 minutes experience of a fantastic view.

Apart from Proboscis Monkeys, you will be thrilled with the spectacular view of hundreds and thousands of fireflies lies on the trees and transform the ordinary trees into Christmas trees. Have you seen a Christmas tree on the river bank? Remarkable!

After the cruise, you’ll be having your Malaysian or local food dinner approx. 7.00 pm at the jetty and subsequently heading back to your next destination. It’s really a simple and short visit but magnificent!
Have a wonderful river cruise experience!
