This category is pretty interesting. Tamu in Sabah means Market or a place for the local people to trade off or sell their crops. Another significant function of “tamu is a venue for the people from various communities to meet and making friends while doing the trading.

There are several categories or types of interesting places in Sabah that you might want to visit or you should visit and hang around. These categories were categorized according to their locality, functions, atmosphere, surroundings as well as history or background.
Besides shopping mall, we acknowledged the categories of the tourist and local popular destinations as Historical or Memorial Site, Nature and Wildlife, Sports and Recreation, Tamu Market, Cultural or Heritage Product, and finally Adventure Product.
Some people might only prefer to visit the Historical or Memorial Site, and some might thrilled by experiencing the Adventure Product as well as Sports and Recreation’s site. Well, the choice is in your hands. It’s up to you to customize your vacation itinerary while staying in Sabah, but remember to plan earlier in order to get the most favorable and memorable trip.
