51st National Day Celebration in KK, Sabah

51st National Day means a lot to the Malaysian. Literally, Malaysia consist of several states including Sabah and Sarawak which located in Borneo Island. In fact, Sabah and Sarawak joined the Malayan union to form Malaysia country on the 16.09.1963 but we are still celebrating 31 August as National Day. As usual, every states has their own National Day celebration exactly on the 31.08.2008 in order to commemorate our legendary leaders as well as our previous history.

In Kota Kinabalu, people start to gather at the bus terminal near SEDCO building as early as 5.30am. Feeling fresh and energetic, they gather with their colleagues and fellow friends while reflecting on the beautiful history.

It was a memorable day for most of us who attended the simple and meaningful half day ceremony.
